Here's a picture of our other onions...the ones that we planted back in the early fall in our "Crop Circles" ;-)
Not so bad, ey?
So they call these red 'candy apple' and 'candy' (yellow) onions. They call them "candy" because they're so sweet. This year we're getting them in nice and early. (Last year we didn't plant our onions till around early April). We got them from here.
But as you can see, these are in, just planted yesterday (February 21st). I'd say Papa did a pretty good job with these onions. Wouldn't you?
